Being a CA by profession, his skilful eye for detail has helped resurgent to implement some of the most complex Debt & Equity deals including ECB and structured debt in sectors ranging from real estate, power, hospitality, retail, infrastructure, life sciences and consumer goods & services.
He has an extensive functional and leadership experience of around 15 years at Resurgent. proficiency in origination, structuring and execution of Corporate Finance, Debt Syndication and Corporate Banking deals across India.
Successfully originated and led several large and complex mandates in the areas of Debt Advisory (bilateral, syndication, refinancing, project finance and export agency finance), Corporate Debt Restructuring, Infrastructure Advisory and other Corporate Finance and Corporate Banking Fields. He is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary
Shri K.K. Gupta brings on board a plethora of knowledge in executing the complicated debt deals with 40 years of experience in the banking sector. He handled credit portfolio of the Bank, monitoring of EAS /SMA, follow up of audit report, control return to RBI, MIS correspondence with government of India
Apart from a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA (master’s in business administration) in finance and certified associate of Indian Institute on Bankers, Shri K.K. Gupta has been honoured with various awards including all India award for deposit mobilization, housekeeping and export performance for extra-large branch during his work span.
At resurgent, he acts as a mentor for our entire team. He handled the corporate and industrial credit portfolio of the exceptionally large branches, zonal office, corporate office for more than 30 years.
In a career span of 39 years, Mr. Shankar has worked in various positions in the banking industry. He started his career as a probationary officer in state bank of Bikaner and Jaipur in the year 1971 and retired as managing director of state bank of Indore.
Mr. Shankar has vast experience in commercial lending, syndications, restructuring, asset recovery, treasury operations and foreign exchange.He is M.SC. (physics) from Meerut university and CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai.
